Prof. Xiangang Cao is a third-grade professor, PhD supervisor and Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi’an University of Science and Technology, whose research interests include equipment health monitoring, coal mine industrial robots and intelligent key technologies for mine electromechanical equipment. He once visited Northern Arizona University as a scholar, chairs three National Natural Science Foundation projects and more than 20 vertical and horizontal research projects, has published over 160 academic papers including more than 60 SCI/EI articles and owns over 30 domestic and international patents, and has received multiple provincial and national industry science and teaching awards while supervising more than 60 graduated postgraduates and 30 current students.
